As a bonus, here’s what I think’s driving current momentum today:

  • Tesla gained nearly 2%, briefly hitting a technical "buy point"—a bullish signal in technical analysis that often draws trader attention.

  • NVIDIA is modestly up (~0.5%) in pre-market trading ahead of its highly anticipated Q2 earnings report, expected to showcase robust year-over-year profit and sales growth.

  • Interactive Brokers (IBKR) is up 4.2% after being slated to join the S&P 500, replacing Walgreens. Simultaneously, Talen Energy is up 4.6% as it takes IBKR’s spot in the S&P MidCap 400.

  • Serina Therapeutics is seeing an impressive +26% jump following FDA support for its Parkinson's drug trial.

Conclusion: Who’s the "Hottest" Large-Cap Today?

  • Tesla (TSLA) leads among the traditional mega-cap names with the strongest intraday gain (~+2%).

  • NVIDIA (NVDA) remains a critical bellwether given its market leadership and the upcoming earnings release—investors are closely watching.

If you define "hottest" by daily price performance among mega-cap giants, Tesla takes the crown today. But in terms of market significance and investor focus, NVIDIA is gearing up for what could be a defining earnings release—a major catalyst.

Another stock I am watching today is RUN which continues to push higher alongside FSLR. Could run make a “run” to $20 soon?
