Early Fireworks Could Start Tomorrow 🎆

Short trading week, big potential...

Hey Folks,

I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend and gearing up for the trading week ahead.

Remember that the markets close at 1:00 pm on Thursday and stay closed through Independence Day. We have to get our trading in while we can!

And there’s every reason to be optimistic…

The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq both closed at record highs on Friday — fully recovering from the trade war fallout.

I know, I can't believe it either

That was in spite of President Trump saying he’s terminating trade talks with Canada “effective immediately.”

By now, anyone who has been paying attention is familiar with the President’s negotiation strategies. Even after dropping 30,000-pound bombs he’s willing to come back to the negotiating table.

He is clearly just trying to get the U.S. the best deal possible rather than pursuing some ideological hobbyhorse.

Separately, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick revealed Thursday that a trade framework between the U.S. and China had been finalized.

U.S.-China trade is about 5 times larger than U.S.-Canada trade, so this is the bigger news.

Lutnick also said the U.S. will be reaching deals with 10 more major trading partners any day now.

With geopolitical tensions eased considerably, I see no reason why the markets can’t have a great week leading up to Friday’s fireworks. 🎇

I’ll be kicking off the short trading week with a “tactical trade” idea tomorrow morning.

It’s a stock I’ve alerted several times in the past that’s made some really great moves the days I alerted it. When I last alerted it in late May, it made a nearly 20% intraday gain.

The stock has made a more than 90% rebound since its April 7 low, and it has been testing levels considerably higher over the past month — not to mention where it was during Q1 of this year.

I’ll explain exactly why I think this one is primed for another jump in my email to you around 9:00 am tomorrow morning — so be sure to tune in!
