How does a 1% move qualify as "off to the races" 🏇

Defend yourself, Jeff!!!

Did you get my Bullseye Trade of the Week?

Calls on XLE.

This one is cool because it is an ETF - exchange traded fund.  That means it is a BASKET of stocks - in this case energy stocks.

I don’t usually trade Energy but this set up checked all the boxes today!

And like with most Bullseyes… it launched pretty quickly!

*Note: Trading is hard, results not guaranteed and should not be expected to be replicated typically.

I was able to get in the initial little pullback for around $1.

And what’s interesting about XLE is a question you might be asking…

“Well, Jeff, it only moved about 1- 2%? How does this qualify as OFF TO THE RACES?”

As I explained to my members during live trading this morning, XLE does not have high implied volatility.

In other words, it’s NOT very volatile - it doesn’t make big moves UP or DOWN in short periods of time.

As you can see, even though XLE is only up around a buck today, my trade is up over $3000 already

*Note: Trading is hard, results not guaranteed and should not be expected to be replicated typically.

This is really different from stocks like TSLA (and God forbid, DJT) that can trade in quite a broad range!

Buying options on stocks with lower volatility tend to be much cheaper…

And it doesn’t take much of a move up for options buyers to become green on their trade.

I LOVE opportunities like this when they present themselves.

All I do is scour for the best setup of the WEEK in there! What are you waiting for? This should be a no-brainer!

See you soon!

P.S. Check out the details for Mode Mobile’s raise below. I was able to catch up with my buddy, Dan Novaes (CEO), down in Florida last week. Looking good, Dan!
