Hey Folks, Jeff here! Hope you are well.
I’ve been waiting for NFLX to pop for a while now..
Today I picked it as my Top Pick of the Day – the time was right!!!
Here’s what over 8600 members received in their inboxes this morning:
Excerpt from Black Label Email Feb 4th
One of my favorite stocks has been one of the more “boring” trades lately, and I like that.
NFLX has been stuck in a range from $960 - $985 for roughly a month since the last earnings report.
From what I see, I think this stock finally has a chance to break out of this range, and attack the magical “$1000” level very soon. I would like to position myself ahead of that.
My top idea for today is to buy (NFLX) calls.
Along with my trade plan inside.
I was ready…. Let’s gooooo!
So what happened? It rocketed at the open and I was too cheap and waited for a little dip to get in.
It didn’t happen – I missed getting in…. Oooh the pain….
$20 move in 10 minutes. It even surpassed that “magical” level of $1000! I’m literally dying!!!
My members with quicker fingers and no regard for waiting for a dip did fine though (yeah yeah good for you Richard):
And Sri…
I went on to trade other stocks from my HOTLIST and even made it into NFLX myself.
As things were improving for me, I was asked in chat if I move my stops up when the stock climbs:
Yes I do move my stops when I can.
*Here is a little pro tip: You can also try trailing stops - check with your broker but, a trailing stop will automatically sell your position when the stock goes down whatever % you determine, from the highest points after you make the trade.
This can be especially useful when you are trading during the day, but can’t monitor a position all the time.
For example, you could say “Stop out when XXX stock goes down 3%.”
That’s my quick recap of the day.
How about you? What are you trading? Do you know WHY you’re trading WHAT you’re trading?
Always have a reason for WHY you’re trading WHAT you’re trading.
And if you DON’T let me teach you how to think through your trading.
Give Davis a call and he’ll help you figure out the best place to start with me - or any of our trading services.
(Jason and I are live trading with members in Black Label so ask him about that program!)

That’s it… to YOUR success as always!
