Fed Waller and Bauman hinted at possible rate cuts in July - that kicked off a premarket surge in small caps, and IWM was the cleanest way to play it.
But then Fed Chair Powell started talking - and I knew from experience that one wrong comment could tank the whole thing.
So I closed the trade.
Took the win.
Moved on.
