Well, folks, it happened…

We finally got a (slightly) down day for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq as investors squirm ahead of tomorrow’s jobs report.

The Santa Rally is over. Time to pack it in…

SIKE! (or is it… psych???)

Regardless, the reality is that investors can’t even agree on whether they want a good or bad jobs report.

A good one would be… good… but a bad one would encourage the Fed to make the rate cut it has been waffling on.

And a rate cut would be… good. For stocks, at least.

I think whatever happens tomorrow will be a blip on the charts of an ultimately bullish December.

For now, I’m ignoring the noise and continuing to chase down promising opportunities.

I was glad to see my “tactical trade” idea from Wednesday went as high as 18% on the day if you include after-hours trading:

That one had a lot going for it, but one thing I noticed the day before was a lot of chatter on trading forums about a big news drop coming imminently.

The company delivered in a big way, helping power it to that double-digit territory Wednesday.

I’m seeing similar chatter with another small stock I have my eye on…

One person said, “There’s rumours tomorrow morning of a strong PR release.” 

Another said, “Huge PR is coming tomorrow.”

Disclaimer, of course, that these are random postings on the internet, and nothing is guaranteed.

The stock did have a nice 6% gain on the day, though, and company insiders have been loading up on the stock lately.

Ultimately, this is one of the more fascinating small companies I’ve come across recently.

Its revenues are increasing dramatically (they’re up 29% for the first three quarters year-over-year) as are its gross profits (up 34% for the same periods).

Its customers include the likes of Boeing, Airbus, Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes, Hilton and Crowne Plaza.
